This is an ongoing March events list that we will update throughout the month as new events and activities come up. Please come back and check periodically so you and your family don't miss out! Know of an event or activity we missed? Let us know! Message us or post on our Facebook wall.

-Art Center of CC Free Family Art Time from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. “Family Art Time” is every Saturday.  All activities are collaborative, taught by experienced art instructors, and of a take home nature. -Anita & W.T. Neyland Public Library 2nd Annual Fancy Nancy Runway Event at 3 p.m.  We're excited to host the fabulous Fancy Nancy Runway event again at Neyland Library.  Children of all ages will compete for the Miss (and Mr.) Fancy Nancy crown.  Kids will walk down the runway showing off their best Fancy Nancy outfit.  No pre-registration required.  Refreshments following program.  1230 Carmel Pkwy.  Contact (361) 826-2370 for more information.

-Art Museum of South Texas Moms N Tots (and sometimes Pops!) “Birds on a Wire” at 11:30 AM.  Join us to explore lines, shapes and patterns in this class that's "for the birds!"  After reading Birds by Laura Dronzek, we'll finish up our drawings by creating birds out of our fingerprints!  RSVPs and payment two business days in advance are required. -Home Depot Kids Workshop Build a Trojan Horse Bank from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.  Build a Trojan Horse Bank from the new DreamWorks animated film, "Mr. Peabody & Sherman". FREE hands-on workshops; designed for children ages 5 - 12.  Workshops teach children do-it-yourself skills, tool safety and instill a sense of pride and accomplishment.  All kids get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin.  One workshop kit, apron and pin per child, while supplies last.  Children must be present at the store to participate in the workshop and receive the kit, apron and pin.  Kids Workshop activities are scheduled on a first come/first served basis.  At all Home Depot locations. -iDiscovery Safari from 10 am - 2 pm.  An educational fair for kids of all ages in the Coastal Bend region. At iDiscovery Safari, kids learn about many careers and explore the “Lands of Learning” at the event! Roam through interactive exhibits, hands-on demonstrations, and entertaining acts. -Carnaval des Animaux at the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History from 10 am-12 pm.  Children! Join us for an exciting adventure at the Museum as we visit the Carnival of the of the Animals Joan Wolfe from Ballet Austin and Creative Dance Adventures returns for a morning of Music & Movement, Arts & Crafts, Photos with the Animals and a Sneak Peek at Concert Ballet’s performance of “Carnaval des Animaux” plus a family Treasure Hunt through the Museum. Sunday, March 2         
-Padre Island National Seashore Kite Making and Kite Flying Program from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Kite-flying day where kids can make their own kite for free (while supplies last)! Kite-flying clubs will give tips and demonstrate techniques. This event will be held on Malaquite Beach in front of the Visitor Center and Pavilion. -March CC Downtown Artwalk starts at 5:30 pm til 9 pm.  Lots of free fun and entertainment for all the family. La Retama Park is the hub of the event with vendors, entertainers, and the kids fun zone but don't neglect the bricks and mortar galleries who all have open night on ArtWalk Friday.  Also free entry into museums to ArtWalkers on ArtWalk night. The Creative Connections Gallery at 1521 N Chaparral. The Art Museum, 1902 Shoreline Blvd, the Science & History Museum, 1900 N Chaparral, and the Museum of Hispanic Culture 1617 N Chaparral, are all open free.
